| The English Department of Zachary High School offers four years of English Studies - English I-IV, English III Pre-AP, English IV AP and Business English. The ZHS English Department seeks to develop a variety of inter-related skills in our students. Students must be able to read, comprehend and respond to a range of materials, as well as write competently for a variety of purposes and audiences. Students must be able to demonstrate competence with the usage of the English language both in writing and speaking. The English Department seeks to develop our students' reasoning and problem solving skills as well. |
