Freshman Academy Courses
Freshman Success (9)

Freshman Success is a freshman course that includes study skills, character education, career building, cooperative learning, and technology training.  Additionaly, the class focuses on note taking, time management, and social relation skills needed in all academic and elective courses. 

The main objective of the course is to facilitate students' recognition of the value of education and the importance of becoming internally motivated to succeed in school.

 
 
English I (9)
 
 
 
Algebra I (9)
An introduction to basic operations on mathematical expressions, solving equations and inequalities through problem solving.  This course is the basis for all other high school math courses.
 
 
World Geography (9)
World Geography seeks to have students develop a spatial understanding of Earth's surface and the processes that shape it, the connections between people and places, and the relationship between man and his environment.
